common Questions
How do I know if I need repair or full replacement?
Camera inspection determines this. Isolated damage — a root intrusion, one cracked joint — is typically repairable. More than 25% of the line affected, or structural collapse, usually warrants replacement. We’ll show you the footage and explain exactly what we find.
Do yo offer trenchless sewer repair?
Yes. We offer both pipe-bursting (pulls a new pipe through while fragmenting the old one) and CIPP lining (a resin liner cured inside the existing pipe). Both methods avoid major excavation.
How long does a sewer line replacement take?
A full open-cut sewer line replacement on a typical residential lot takes 1–2 days. Trenchless methods are often completed in a single day.
Will my yard be torn up?
Traditional replacement requires excavation along the line. We restore backfill to grade and reseed or re-sod disturbed areas. Trenchless pipe-bursting requires only small access pits at each end.
Is sewer repair covered by homeowner’s insurance?
Sometimes — it depends on the cause. Sudden collapse from ground shift may be covered; root intrusion from gradual neglect usually is not. We can provide detailed documentation to support your claim.
